About Nifty India Digital Index The Nifty India Digital Index tracks the performance of 30 large-cap companies from eligible basic industries, including software, e-commerce, IT-enabled services, industrial electronics, and telecom services. Constituents are selected based on their six-month average free-float market capitalization, with stock weights capped at 7.5% and sector weights at 50%. Launched on December 14, 2021, the index is reconstituted semi-annually and rebalanced quarterly, serving as a benchmark for asset managers and a reference for passive funds like ETFs and index funds.
