About A-One Steels India Ltd
A-One Steels India Limited (formerly A-One Steel and Alloys Private Limited) was incorporated on April 9, 2012 in Karnataka, later renamed A-One Steels India Private Limited on June 29, 2024, and converted into a public limited company as A-One Steels India Limited on December 23, 2024. The business began in Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh, starting with MS ingots (2009) and adding a structural steel facility in 2010.
The company upgraded to continuous casting for MS billets in 2011, enabling hot charging of billets and structural steel manufacturing. It expanded with the Gowribidnur plant (Karnataka) in 2013 for TMT bars and MS billets, acquired 100% of subsidiary Vanya Steels Private Limited in 2017, and then commenced HR coil and MS pipes and tubes manufacturing at Bellary, Karnataka. It added sponge iron (DRI) manufacturing in 2018, initiated wind and solar green power generation, and began manufacturing cold rolled and galvanizing pipes and tubes in 2021. In November 2023, A One Steels India Private Limited and Aaryan Hitech Steels India Private Limited were amalgamated into the company, effective November 22, 2023.
A-One is a backward integrated steel manufacturer in southern India with a diversified portfolio across long and flat steel products and industrial products used in steel manufacturing. It is among the top 5 steel producers in southern India by crude steel capacity and claims to be the only company manufacturing 10 steel and industrial products, with backward integration supporting intermediate supply control, quality, and margins. Its products serve construction and infrastructure and a wide range of structures and industrial uses.
It operates six manufacturing facilities: five in Karnataka (Gauribidanur, Bellary—two units, Koppal, Chikkantapur) and one in Andhra Pradesh (Hindupur).
