Mahalaxmi Seamless Limited (MSL) is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, founded on April 23, 1991. Specializing in cold drawn carbon steel pipes and tubes, MSL has been at the forefront of innovation in India. In 1995-96, they developed the groundbreaking SA213-T2 steel grade for L&T Ltd, and also advanced U' Bend design for heat exchangers. By 2000-01, MSL had introduced the special grade material SA213-T9 for heat exchangers and expanded its supply to the automobile and refinery sectors by 2001-02.
The company has consistently enhanced its production capabilities, evidenced by a significant increase in monthly production from 650 to 850 tonnes in 2003-04, thanks to modifications in their electrical heating furnace. MSL is also recognized for its development of three-dimensional tubes and the installation of a piercing mill in 2005-06. The company has earned the prestigious 'Well Known Tube Maker' title from the Indian Boiler Regulation Board, granting it self-certification authority.
